Job Description

Overview:

On-site Manager (OSM) works with our Amazon delivery supply chain, They also maintain and reports up to date and accurate statistics, daily reports and processes the analytic data. They also facilitates the flow of information between different directors and resolves any potential issues that impact customer experience and business continuity. OSM also provides timely resolutions to the issue at hand by researching and utilising internal tools and making real-time decisions. An ideal candidate should be able to understand the requirements/be able to analyse data to highlight trends and be able to enhance Customer Experience without compromising on resource. The candidate should have the basic understanding of logistics and should have a proficient level of communication both written and verbally.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Support of the Director in the daily tasks/operations of Sentry Logistics Pull and report data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, and/or other data management systems). Use of Office tools to provide the necessary information for analysis, daily reports & metrics Resolution of operational problems in the flows to and from External Service Providers Resolution of problems that may require working onsite as a manager of the operational side of the business Acting as a point of contact through the communication between Operations and related parties, such as Amazon and Transportation teams Reporting and analysis through tools, portals and reports; following solution-driven approach to systems and processes, using advanced computer literacy (MS Office) and Data-warehouse analysis Develop and understand performance metrics to assist with improving business results Systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure that they are delivered Scope out business and functional requirements and feedback to Amazon technology teams who create and enhance the software systems and tools that are used Maintain strong inter-personal and relationship-building skills Manage a team of 60 drivers on a day-to-day basis and keeping standards. Writing & speaking fluently in English
This position is based at Occasional travel will be required to the Midlands area.

MS Office knowledge, particularly in Excel Be familiar with the general use of computer tools Having autonomy, initiative and a proactive approach in solving problems Strong sense of responsibility, maintaining an ethical, fair and reliable behaviour in all situations

Pay: 33,800.00-45,000.00 per year
