Team Overview:

This position is with LaSalle Investment Management's International Accounts team (the "Team"), a specialist business which invests client capital into real estate equity investments in the UK as well as Europe, covering Core, Core+ and Value-Add strategies. The team is involved in the complete lifecycle of real estate investments and currently has assets under management with a target GDV of 7.7bn (6.0bn AuM).



Role:

The role will be primarily focused on supporting the Team with portfolio management services in collaboration with asset management, ESG, finance and financing teams on behalf of four LaSalle global accounts.



Accountabilities:



Involvement in business plan creation and execution, financial modelling and client reporting.



Preparation of internal investment committee materials and external client presentations on topics related to portfolio management workstreams.



Liaison and coordination with internal LaSalle departments and external counterparties (e.g. valuers, lenders, brokers, tax advisors, etc).



Analysing market trends, economic conditions, and the competitive landscape to inform portfolio strategies.



Required Qualifications & Experience:



Strong academic degree qualifications.



1-2 years of experience.



Desirable prior work experience in real estate investment principal real estate investing and/or development.



Understanding of property fundamentals across a wide set of investment strategies, as well as a strong interest in real estate investment.



Must be proficient in Excel financial modelling (i.e. cash flow/DCF) and experienced in PowerPoint and data visualization. Prior experience of Argus Enterprise is also an advantage.



Strong attention to detail and analytical rigour is key to the role.



Strong time management skills with ability to prioritise and work on a variety of projects simultaneously.



A team player who is self-motivated with excellent communication skills, strong work ethic and positive attitude.



European languages an advantage, although not a must.
