About the Role
We are looking for a practical, reliable, and enthusiastic Yard & Stock manager to join our antiques & architectural salvage business. This is a varied, hands-on role combining stock handling, photography, yard organisation, and deliveries. It's a great opportunity for someone with an interest in antiques, architectural salvage, and sustainability to develop skills in a unique industry.

Key Responsibilities
Dealing with customer enquiries and be involved in buying and selling.
Photographing antique and salvage stock ready for online listings
Accurately documenting, labelling, and recording stock for online and in-yard sales
Keeping the yard and shop areas neat, tidy, and well organised
Displaying furniture and architectural salvage in an attractive and practical manner
Assisting with the loading, and unloading of items
Carrying out deliveries and collections of stock using a van and trailer
Restore/repair items for sale, including flagstones, fireplaces, oak beams, floorboards.
Skills & Experience
Full, clean UK driving licence essential
Trailer towing experience would be ideal
Forklift driving experience desirable but not essential (training will be provided)
Physically fit and strong, with the ability to handle furniture and building materials
Good attention to detail, especially when photographing and documenting stock
Ideal Candidate
computer skills essential, (shopify experience would be useful)
Has an interest in antiques, architectural salvage, or reclaimed materials
Enjoys practical, hands-on work and varied days
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Takes pride in presentation, organisation, and teamwork
