As part of our growth plans, Debt Recovery Plus are looking are looking to strengthen our Appeals Handling team based from offices in Manchester (Tameside). We are part of the Bristow & Sutor Group - employing over 490 people, in debt recovery, throughout the UK.
We are now looking for an Appeals Handler to join our busy team. This Role will be a hybrid position.

Key elements of the role will include:
The role involves working within our Appeals Team responding to written appeals for private parking charge notices.
Analysing case by case data and collating the relevant written response.
You will also be required to operate a customer service phone line to provide advice on how to appeal..
Requirements

To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate:
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to self-motivate and manage your own workload.
Good problem solving, critical thinking, reasoning and decision-making skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Speed of thought and decision making.
Computer experience - a good understanding of outlook, excel and word is required.

The position offers a starting salary of 23,810 per annum.
The successful applicant would be required to undertake a DBS and CCJ check before an offer of employment is made.
