The Role

Due to a growth plan within our IT team, we are delighted to confirm that Fortem Solutions are currently recruiting for an Application Analyst. This role will be based at our Hitchin site, with agile working available. You'll be responsible for providing 2nd line support, diagnosing and resolving application and system issues, and ensuring users receive a high-quality, timely service. Alongside your support responsibilities, you'll also contribute to system enhancements and application projects, assisting with testing, configuration, and implementations. This role offers the chance to balance day-to-day troubleshooting with opportunities to drive longer-term improvements and change activities, helping the business get the most from its applications. We are looking for someone who has good knowledge of at least 2 out of our 3 core systems: 1. TotalMobile Mobilise 2. TotalMobile Connect 3. Trimble Fieldview

The Company

Fortem Solutions are a nationwide business specialising in the Social Housing sector. We provide Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and Retrofit workstreams within Local Authorities and Housing Associations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: o Provide 2nd line support for all applications in use across the business and processed through a helpdesk ticketing system. o Managing customer expectations and achieving set service level agreements and key performance indicators, whilst always trying to exceed them. o Create and maintain system knowledge base articles. o Implement and perform system testing against requirements using best practice methodologies. o Work with stakeholders to gather and specify requirements for system changes, fixes and developments o Work with branches to perform user acceptance testing of implemented solutions prior to transitioning into the live environment o Escalate problems to the Application Specialists where required to ensure swift resolution o Project manage smaller projects ensuring project governance is adhered to i.e. producing documentation, status reports o Mentor and support other team members and work as part of a team, propagating knowledge o Organise and manage own workload effectively to meet all project timescales and managers expectations o Support Application Specialists in set up and testing of all Fortem applications required to meet the needs of the contract o Deliver training and advice on Applications and Mobile Devices to meet the needs of the contract

What You Will Need

Essential o Proven experience of working with and supporting existing business systems and applications (preferably in the Repairs & Maintenance or Social Housing Management sectors) o Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills o Effective interrogation and analytical skills o Full driving license Desirable o Previous experience supporting/mobilising one or more of the following applications: TotalMobile Mobilise, TotalMobile Connect or Trimble Fieldview o Operational/commercial experience within the maintenance/construction sector o Working within a matrix structure o Experience of regression Testing of applications including recording the results of testing o Ability to build and use SQL queries to extract/analyse data o Experience of working with ServiceNow/Servicely o ITIL foundation or equivalent of 3 years experience
