We are currently looking for an Application Analyst to work in our Application Management Team within our IT & Digital Services division.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge and experience in providing development and \'business as usual\' type support for IT applications in a local authority (or similar) setting. They will also have a good awareness and understanding of IT security and data governance, including experience of having incorporated this within an application support function. The ability to work successfully within a larger IT team and with a range of partners/stakeholders, including application vendors, other technical specialists and business leads is another core requirement.

The Application Analyst will use their skills and experience to provide management and support for one or more key Council systems, with their work primarily being generated by application users, through our service desk software, but also arriving via IT projects, of which there are usually multiple underway at any one time. The role will also require frequent attendance at, and active participation in, meetings with stakeholders and partners.

Location

The job is based in Laurence House, Catford SE6 4RU but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Salary

\xc2\xa340,503 - \xc2\xa342,510 per annum (PO2)

N.B. All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof
