About the role:

An exciting opportunity to join an ICT Applications team to help to support the delivery of digital projects within Powys County Council working on the Digital Transformation Programme

About you:

• Experience of the use of Microsoft products.
• Experience of supporting a variety of software applications.
• Working as part of a support team in a customer focussed environment.
• A positive attitude towards development and improvement.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team as well as using your own initiative.

What you will do:

• Support and be the application specialist for the implementation of new systems within the digital transformation programme.
• Support and interact with ICT teams, suppliers and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues across supported applications.
• Investigate and fix software application issues raised via service requests from system users, ensuring all requests are responded to in a timely manner within agreed procedures and service level agreements.
• Develop your skills and knowledge in order to expand your support to include multiple applications and processes.
