Summary

We are seeking an Application Support Engineer to join our dynamic team at Bluelotus Technologies Limited. This role will be pivotal in providing technical support for our large-scale cloud-hosted applications, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.

Application support role

Managing and maintaining the banks integration systems on a day to day basis Fault finding and diagnosis of issues within integration systems Providing out of hours support for deployments Reviewing and challenging design documentation to improve efficiencies within the bank Documenting procedures and ensuring current procedures are up to date IT Experience preferably in a financial services environment Unix / Redhat Linux experience ideally RHEL including shell scripting JBoss/Websphere/Weblogic/Tomcat hands-on experience an advantage Windows Server Management Networking / load balancers Finacle or other financial application experience an advantage Oracle / SQL Server / RDBMS experience Technical Support and troubleshooting background Powershell an advantage
Your key responsibilities will be as follows:

Supporting and maintaining the banks systems on a day to day basis Monitoring and troubleshooting key banking systems Providing out of hours support Reviewing design documentation Documenting procedures and ensuring current procedures are up to date
