We are a friendly, patient-focused optical company looking for a motivated
Apprentice Office Administrator
to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience, a recognised qualification, and the opportunity to build a strong foundation in optical administration and practice operations.
About the Role
This position supports the smooth and efficient running of a number of practices through administrative, stock, and systems-based work. You will work closely with the wider team to ensure records, processes, and stock control are accurate and well maintained.
Full training and structured support will be provided throughout the apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining and updating patient records and databases
Managing patient recall systems and appointment communications
Carrying out general administrative tasks including data entry and filing
Supporting stock control, ordering, and replenishment
Monitoring deliveries and maintaining accurate stock records
Assisting with internal systems and operational processes
What We're Looking For
Well organised with strong attention to detail
Comfortable using computers and administrative systems
Good written and verbal communication skills
Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
Able to work independently and as part of a team
No previous optical or administrative experience required
