We are seeking a motivated and diligent Carpenter Apprentice to join our construction team. Responsibilities

Assist with the fabrication and assembly of wooden structures and components Use hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and measuring devices to support carpentry tasks Operate power tools safely to cut, shape, and install materials Support roofing activities including installation and repairs Participate in construction painting, masonry, plumbing, and electrical tasks under supervision Perform heavy lifting to move materials and equipment around the site Aid in joinery work for customised fittings and fixtures Contribute to site preparation and clean-up activities to ensure a safe working environment Follow all health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

Basic knowledge of carpentry, joinery, or construction-related trades is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key Experience with fabrication, assembly, or use of hand tools is desirable Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently Physically fit with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights if necessary Good organisational skills with attention to detail Willingness to undertake on-the-job training in roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and construction painting Ability to work well within a team environment and follow instructions diligently
