Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Civil Engineer to join our growing team delivering nationwide Electric Vehicle (EV) charging point installations. This hands-on role involves travelling and working away from home on a regular basis, offering a unique opportunity to gain valuable industry experience while playing a part in the UK's transition to cleaner transport.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with on-site civil engineering tasks including excavation, ducting, and reinstatement. Support the setup and installation of EV charging points, working closely with engineers and electricians. Help conduct site surveys, take measurements, and gather data for project planning. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment at all times. Read and interpret site drawings under supervision. Complete all on-the-job and classroom-based apprenticeship training as required. Travel and stay away from home during the week as projects demand.

Requirements:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science (Grade 4/C or above). Willing and able to travel and work away from home regularly. Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong team player with a willingness to learn. Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Desirable:

Full UK driving licence or working towards one. Prior interest or exposure to construction, engineering, or environmental technologies.
