We're looking for an enthusiastic IT Helpdesk Apprentice to join our team and help keep our staff working smoothly and efficiently. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager for Western Europe & Africa, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting and maintaining our IT systems while developing your technical skills.
Hours Per Week: 37
Days Per Week: Monday - Friday
Basis: Full Time and Fixed Term

The day to day
Log and respond to IT issues and service requests, learning to communicate solutions clearly
Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and regular maintenance tasks
Help build, install, and support laptops, desktops, phones, and printers
Support the maintenance of server room equipment like backups, switches, routers, and servers
Travel to different locations when issues can't be fixed remotely
Work with third-party vendors as needed
Help keep an inventory of IT equipment and assist with ordering components
Keep the server room and supplies organised
The Essentials
Keen interest in IT and a desire to learn
Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
Basic understanding of computers and software
Willingness to travel to different locations when required
Some experience or knowledge of Windows operating systems is a bonus, but not essential
Motivation to develop technical skills in areas such as hardware, networking, and software support
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
