A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join McBrides Accountants in Sidcup as an IT apprentice, working closely with our IT Manager to offer technological support to the team.


The role will initially include the following duties:

Supervised hardware installation Basic user administration Telephone setups Building an understanding of basic components in the computer room

Following training, additional duties will include:

Basic end user support User setups Software upgrades Laptop preparations Azure config and Microsoft Entra CCH Practice Management maintenance CCH Document Management administration

Full training will be provided, along with study support for a CompTIA apprenticeship.

About you...

You will have a grade 5 or above in English and Maths and have a keen interest in kickstarting a career in IT. You will demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, have excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. You will have strong IT skills with good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office suite.

What's on offer?

From day one, you'll be gaining practical experience across a wide variety of IT support, working with onsite users and providing remote desktop support for group offices. During your training, you'll also receive full support towards your studies in the form of paid exam fees, study courses and study leave, as well as four weeks' annual leave (with bank holidays on top).
