Cellcycle is seeking a meticulous and driven Graduate Lab Technician with an interest or experience in chemistry, material science, and ideally, knowledge of biotechnology.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice/Graduate Lab Technician to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an apprentice or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic laboratory environment.
As a Lab Technician at Cellcycle, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop essential skills in Li-ion battery recycling, material analysis, assay reporting, bioleaching and hydrometallurgical research, contributing to our efforts to promote environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Laboratory Support
: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, including equipment setup and maintenance, inventory management, and adherence to safety protocols.
2.
Experimental Assistance
: Support senior technicians and researchers in conducting experiments, preparing samples, and performing assays to characterize battery components and assess hydrometallurgical processes.
3.
Data Collection and Analysis
: Record experimental data accurately and systematically, assist in data analysis, and prepare reports summarizing experimental procedures and results.
4.
Quality Control
: Assist in implementing quality control procedures to ensure the reliability and reproducibility of experimental results, including calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
5.
Documentation
: Maintain detailed records of laboratory activities, including sample logs, experimental protocols, and safety documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
6.
Professional Development
: Participate in training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance skills and knowledge in laboratory techniques, material analysis, and bioleaching research.
7.
Collaboration
: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve research objectives, contribute ideas and suggestions, and support ongoing projects and initiatives.
Experience / Qualification / Skills:
A-levels or equivalent qualifications in relevant subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, Materials or Environmental Science (for apprentices).
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field (for graduates).
Strong academic background and a passion for environmental sustainability and scientific research.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in experimental procedures and data recording.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
