Do you want to work as a registered professional who assists pharmacists with various tasks, such as dispensing medicines, providing health advice, and managing the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy?

Achieve the best possible outcome through a person's medicines by managing, ordering, receiving, maintaining and supplying medicines and other pharmaceutical products safely, legally and effectively, whilst meeting the regulatory standards Provide person-centred health advice to all patients, whether on prescription or over the counter, and refer them to other healthcare professionals when appropriate Support the management of the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy, such as clinical governance, business operation and processes, and supervise other pharmacy staff Provide training to pharmacy and the wider healthcare teams, such as for new members of staff Maintain a quality service through auditing and evaluating the service and processes and respond to feedback You will also gain a nationally recognised qualification at Level 3, equivalent to A level, which will enable you to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician
You will be supported in learning how to deal with customer prescriptions accurately
You will also be trained to order and label medication and manage and rotate stock levels
We will also train you to understand about patient confidentiality and data protection which are especially important when dealing with operational queries with GP's
Patient care is at the heart of all of our training, and so this role is quite a responsibility!

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: From 7.55 per hour

Expected hours: 26.5 per week
