We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. Responsibilities

Assist experienced plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Use hand tools and power tools to cut, assemble, and fit pipes and fixtures accurately. Support the assembly of plumbing components according to specifications and safety standards. Assist with welding tasks where necessary, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed. Carry out basic measurements and calculations using fundamental maths skills to ensure precise fitting of components. Help with carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations when required. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to assist with project progress. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Learn about mechanical systems involved in plumbing operations through on-the-job training.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of plumbing principles or a keen interest in developing skills within this trade. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Mechanical knowledge or experience with carpentry is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work physically demanding shifts. Good basic maths skills for measurements and calculations. Valid driving licence for commercial driving is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills within the plumbing trade. Pay: 97.68-120.00 per day
