Responsibilities

Assist qualified plumbers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. Participate in welding activities as required for pipe fittings and repairs. Perform basic carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations. Carry out assembly work for plumbing fixtures and systems. Support heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed on job sites. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly. Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of plumbing principles is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques is preferred. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic plumbing issues effectively. Strong basic maths skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required on job sites. A valid driving licence for commercial driving may be necessary depending on job requirements. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. A strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
