Mill House Club is a wonderful childcare business providing a home from home experience for all children, helping them learn and develop everyday, Working in a busy Breakfast and After School and Holiday Club environment.

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified childcare practitioner or an Apprentice who has lots of ideas for play, can work on their own initiative and has a keen sense of fun and adventure. They must also be caring and considerate, have a natural ability to work and engage with children, and work effectively as part of a team. We particularly need someone who can work at both of our Escrick and Riccall settings. Shifts will be mornings 7.30-9.00 am and afternoons 3-6pm on a split shift basis each weekday during term time. This can be a year round position if desired up to 3 days a week in Holiday Club. If you are looking for a role working with children, this may be exactly the role for you. The role requires a DBS check, to confirm suitability to work with children. You must have an early years childcare qualification that allows you to be classed as qualified staff when working with pre school children as we work with children from 3-11 years. Responsibilities

Supervise and engage children in play activities to promote their physical and emotional development. Ensure a safe and nurturing environment by adhering to childcare regulations and best practices. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Assist in planning and implementing educational and recreational programs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas and equipment. Support the development of social skills through group activities and teamwork.
