Are you hands-on, mechanically minded, and looking to start a career in precision engineering? Prestige Fabrications is offering an exciting apprenticeship opportunity to train as a Sheet Metal Fabricator/Welder with a leading UK manufacturer.
The Role
As an Apprentice Sheet Metal Fabricator/Welder, you will learn the full range of fabrication and welding skills, including:
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Using machinery such as press brakes, saws, rolls and CNC laser cutters MIG/TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium Fabricating components to tight tolerances Finishing, deburring, and quality checking parts
You'll work alongside experienced fabricators, gaining practical skills on the shop floor while completing a recognised engineering qualification.

A genuine interest in engineering and manufacturing Good practical and problem-solving skills Willingness to learn and work as part of a team Strong attention to detail and pride in your work National 5 (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science preferred
