The Role

Due to continued growth, Certus now has an exciting opportunity for an apprentice quantity surveyor to work closely with the senior management team!

As an apprentice, you will support the commercial director, gaining hands-on experience whilst studying towards a recognised qualification (e.g. HNC, HND, or BSc in Quantity Surveying)

Your responsibilities will grow as your skills develop and may include:

Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates and quotations Supporting in the measurement and valuation of works, including take-offs from drawings and site visits Helping to prepare and issue tender documents and contract documentation Assisting with the financial monitoring of projects from start to completion Liaising with clients, contractors, loss adjusters, and other project stakeholders Maintaining accurate records and supporting document control procedures Attending college or training sessions as part of your apprenticeship.

Requirements:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above) Good communication skills, both written and verbal Strong numeracy and attention to detail Eagerness to learn and develop a career in quantity surveying Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Valid UK driving license
