Assess & estimate damage to a wide variety of vehicles using both manual and digital methods (e.g. Audatex software).
The end-to-end process of damage estimating, including identifying repair vs. replace decisions.
Assist in reviewing vehicle assessments submitted by franchisees for work provider approval, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Support the process of evaluating the most cost-effective and safe vehicle repair options.
Communication skills for working with customers, insurance companies, repair technicians, and the Bodyshop team to deliver seamless repair services.
Create accurate, commercially aware repair estimates.
Learn to balance technical decision-making with clear, professional communication.
Support the network's performance and quality targets.
Compliance, audit, and quality assurance in a regulated environment.
Understanding of key business KPIs, SLAs, and customer service metrics in a network repair setting.
Risk awareness, including fraud prevention and legal obligations within the automotive repair industry.
Help monitor and track performance data from our franchise network, contributing to monthly performance reports.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping the team and network explore ways to enhance performance.
Understand and support internal audit requirements, compliance checks, and service level expectations.
Gain familiarity with GDPR and regulatory responsibilities relevant to vehicle repair and claims handling.

Assessors visit delivery, learner carries out majority of learning at place of work, supported by online tuition, assessor visits to site and occasional days at training provider premises

What You'll Need
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (preferred).
Strong literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, hands-on attitude and a real desire to learn.
A driving licence is not essential at the start, but it will be needed in the future.
Enthusiastic and motivated individual eager to learn about the automotive repair industry.
Keen interest in vehicle mechanics, repair processes, and digital technology.
Willingness to follow structured training plans and actively engage with mentors and team leaders.
