Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Apprenticeship Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Part of maintenance team providing varied support to production, site services and facilities.
Maintenance, repair and development of plant and equipment.
Assist in the inspection, testing, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and control panels.
Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to minimise downtime.
Learn to diagnose faults and carry out basic repairs under supervision.
Help maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Follow health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
Participate in training sessions and complete coursework as part of the apprenticeship program.
Shadow experienced engineers to gain practical knowledge of manufacturing equipment such as motors, PLCs, conveyors, and automated systems.
Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Skills/Experience:
GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
You will be required to undertake an electrical apprenticeship.
Interest in electrical engineering and problem-solving.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Positive attitude
Creative and able to work under own initiative and as part of a Team
Training Provided
Day release to attend college or training provider.
On-the-job mentoring by qualified engineers.
Exposure to a wide range of electrical systems and manufacturing technologies.
