Foyle Port is the key marine gateway to the Northwest of Ireland for both commerce and tourism and plays a vital role driving economic activity in the region.

Maintenance Electrician (Permanent) Ref: ME06/25

Responsible for ensuring site electrical systems and documentation are accurate and compliant with relevant codes, undertaking electrical repairs / maintenance of all site plant and equipment, including electrical breakdowns, fault finding, planned maintenance and electrical inspections/tests.

Essential Criteria:

Served a recognised electrical apprenticeship to City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent. Hold City & Guilds 18th edition Wiring Regulations. Qualified to conduct Portable Appliance Testing. Minimum of three years' experience of completing electrical repairs and maintenance tasks. Ability to carry out electrical repair job assessments (inspections), identifying the repair to be completed and materials required to complete the repair task. Capable of working at height from scaffold platforms, ladders, mechanical equipment, in confined spaces, and both on and off shore. Basic IT skills to include experience using MS Outlook or other email platform. Full current driving licence or access to a form of transport to enable the post holder to meet the requirements of the post in full.

Desirable Criteria:

Experience of maintenance and repair of mobile harbour cranes Experience working on marine electrical installations Experience operating industrial machinery, e.g. forklift truck, telehandler, MEWP. Experience using asset management or maintenance software systems.
