Treexpert Tree Care is Chorley's trusted provider of professional tree services. Known for our safety-first approach, expert knowledge, and friendly customer service, we serve domestic and commercial clients across Lancashire and beyond.

We are expanding and looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Arborist to take a senior role in our growing team.

We carry out works for private clients as well as commercial clients, so variety of different works are carried out on a daily basis.

The Role:

As Lead Arborist, you'll take charge of on-site operations, lead a team of climbers and ground staff, and ensure that every job is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is a hands-on role for an experienced climber who is ready to step up and lead by example.

Responsibilities include:

Leading a team on site and managing daily work schedules

Climbing and performing tree removals, reductions, and pruning works

Ensuring compliance with all health & safety regulations (PUWER, LOLER, etc.)

Conducting site risk assessments

Mentoring junior staff and supporting training/development

Communicating clearly with clients and representing Treexpert professionally

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 3 years of practical arboricultural experience

Proficiency in modern climbing techniques and equipment

NPTC/LANTRA Certificates: CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39 (CS40 & CS41 desirable)

Clean Full UK Driving Licence

Strong leadership skills and a positive, proactive attitude

Excellent knowledge of tree species, tree health, and industry best practices

First Aid at Work (Arboriculture) preferred
