Overview

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Arcade Attendant to join us As an Arcade Attendant, you will play a crucial role in creating a fun and engaging environment for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all amusement machines are functioning properly,and to report faults. Assist customers with their gaming experience, and maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly as they enter the arcade and provide assistance with any needs. You will be the key holder to the amusements so will require opening and closing the business setting alarms and making sure all floats are banked and correct. Provide support to customers by explaining game rules and assisting with gameplay. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the arcade area, including regular cleaning of machines and surrounding spaces. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Monitor customers behaviour to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all customers ensuring a safe gambling environment is in place for all customers Assist in the planning of promotions within the arcade to gain a bigger customer base.

Experience

Previous experience with cash handling is preferred but not essential A friendly passion for providing excellent customer service. Ability to work well alone while also being self-motivated. Basic knowledge of the amusement industry is an advantage but not required; training will be provided.

A Rota system set the same rotating every 2 weeks is on trial

Week 1

9am to 7pm/8pm

Thur Fri Sat

Week 2

9am to 7pm/8pm

Mon Tue Wed

on week 3 you will return to the same rota as week 1 then week 2.

This rota system is great as it will give you every 2nd week 7 full days off after you final shift but still maintaining 30 hours per week

To note Rota show above is not guaranteed and you must be available each week to work any 3-4 days each week put down if required.

You will be given a min 30 hours per week over 3 days but job is advertised as 30-40 hours so you may be required to do 40 on some weeks over 4 days

We require you when the arcade is busy to stay open until latest 8pm

But on quiet evenings you will close at 7pm

We are also planning to open half days Sundays so you may be required to work Sundays

With the plans of opening hours of 12pm - 5pm

Please only apply if your are happy to work up to 40 hours over any 4 days per week and willing to work weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.86 per hour
