We are seeking a skilled and innovative Planning Consultant and Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architectural design and project planning, with proficiency in various design software. This role requires a creative thinker who can effectively collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional planning solutions.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for projects. Develop detailed planning proposals and presentations using tools such as ArchiCAD, Revit, and Sketchup. Create 3D models and visualisations using Grasshopper 3D and NavisWorks to aid in project development. Prepare technical drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform planning decisions. Liaise with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution. Utilise Adobe Creative Suite for the creation of marketing materials and project documentation. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in planning and design.

Requirements

Proficiency in architectural software including ArchiCAD, Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Grasshopper 3D, and NavisWorks is essential. Strong understanding of joinery principles and construction methods. Excellent sketching skills for conceptual designs. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. A degree in Architecture, Planning, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
