About the Job

We are looking for an experienced architect to run jobs in the Dundee/Edinburgh area. The architect has responsibility for project development and administration of professional architectural services, to project through to completion; on time, on margin and on budget. To manage the accuracy and quality of information being prepared by the members of the project team.

Manage resources for each project which ensure optimum profitability for the Company whilst at the same time achieving creative excellence Effective negotiation of consultant and contractor appointments where relevant Produce weekly production and budget control status reports for all projects Deal directly and personally with clients

About You

RIBA Part 3 essential. Minimum of 5 years experience. Sound knowledge of all statutory and legal requirements. High organisational, time and project management skills. Able to manage several projects regularly running concurrently or overlapping. Strong problem-solving skills - able to anticipate problems and to respond creatively and pro-actively. Strong people management skills. Take appropriate actions and / or create approaches which develop a strong team ethic. Strong commercial awareness and understand and work effectively with the budgeting process. First class influencing skills - able to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers and internal stakeholders. Resilient in managing demanding relationships at the highest levels.
