Role
As an Architectural Assistant in our London studio, you will be a member of a collaborative team that values both rigorous thinking and creative exploration. Responsibilities
Working in the collaborative setting of a project team, you will be responsible for investigative research studies, establishing and developing conceptual ideas, testing proposals using physical models and producing drawings and illustrations. Depending on the project and stage of design, you will be expected to develop design proposals from concept through technical development; to coordinate with consultants and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings; to assist in preparing presentation materials for client meetings and design reviews; and to support project documentation and construction administration phases.
Skills and Experience
-- Part 2 qualified with 2-4 years professional experience on high-quality architectural projects with innovative design and sustainable ambition
-- Portfolio demonstrating strong aesthetic quality, design thinking, and ability to visualise and present ideas compellingly
-- Proficient in physical modelmaking and exceptional in sketching and design communication
-- Skilled in digital software including Rhino, ArchiCAD and Photoshop
-- Strong collaborative skills with experience contributing to multidisciplinary project team
-- Enthusiasm for design research, material exploration, and technical development
