The Job
An Architectural Designer/Technician/Technologist will, depending on experience, work under, alongside or supervision of others but will have their own workload including client contact, production of drawings and other documentations to take a project from concept stage through to completion. This includes site surveys, all stages of drawing work, supporting statements, submissions as well as working closely with other consultants. The successful applicant will be supported by a full time, on site, administration team and other members of the architectural and building surveying teams.
The Person
The ideal candidate must have a keen interest in architecture, design, and construction, ideally with experience working with private residential clients. A good working knowledge of CAD and/or Revit is essential along with the confidence to communicate directly with clients.
Good knowledge of building pathology and an understanding of current planning policy and building regulations are critical to the role with knowledge of our local vernacular being an advantage.
A positive attitude, ability to manage workloads and drive to provide the highest level of service, are all important to us.
The Package
Salary dependent upon experience plus discretionary and incentive bonus scheme.
