Architectural Technician

Job Description

We are currently looking for a full-time Architectural Technician to join our team in a remote and permanent position, with an immediate start or within a two-week notice period. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our design team on a variety of projects, providing technical and design support, and helping deliver high-quality architectural documentation.
Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the design team to produce detailed architectural drawings.
  • Assisting with technical design and documentation for a wide range of projects.
  • Ensuring all documentation meets UK planning and building regulations.
  • Carrying out measured building surveys as required for projects.
  • Preparing and producing planning and building regulation drawings.
  • Managing and delivering tasks independently in a remote working environment.
  • Communicating effectively within a team to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
Requirements
  • Holds a degree in Architecture or a related field, or possess equivalent qualifications.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vectorworks, or other industry-standard software.
  • Strong understanding of UK planning and building regulations.
  • Previous experience in carrying out measured building surveys.
  • Demonstrable experience in producing planning and building regulation drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to grow within a team.
