is a Multi Award-Winning Residential Architectural Design Practice based with offices in London, Cheshire and Cambridge.

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Architectural Technologist / Architectural Technician with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in delivering high quality detailed technical design drawings for residential projects such as Home Extensions and Loft Conversions.

The main software used in the practice is Autodesk Revit therefore, to be considered for the position it is essential you have considerable experience with this software.

As an Architectural Technologist / Architectural Technician at Excela Architecture , your role will involve producing technical design drawings and building regulations specifications on small residential schemes, such as Home extensions and loft conversions.

This is a Full time remote position working on projects across all 3 Excela Architecture offices.

The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of UK building regulations and construction design standards and must be able to self manage the workload of multiple small scheme projects.

(Please do not apply if you do not have a minimum of 2 years UK project experience.)

Required Skills and Experience

Excellent communicator of ideas and views. Architectural Industry experience in the UK is a must. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to self manage workload to achieve project deadlines. Proficient in Revit. Experience with Stage 4 Technical Design, building regulations drawings and construction detailing. You will need a sound understanding of UK Building Regulations. Very well organised with excellent attention to detail. A minimum of 2 years UK experience of residential architectural design. Be able to produce high detail Revit Models and drawings.

Roles & Responsibilities

Confidence and ability to produce residential schemes. Producing Stage 4 Technical design packs. Revit technical details modelling. Monitor assigned projects on the project management system. Experience in Architectural rendering and post-production is a bonus. Advise clients, builders and developers on construction design details and propose design alterations.
This is a full-time position, starting immediately.

The position available is for a Remote Working Position.

Do you have experience using Revit for technical design and construction detailing in a UK Based Architectural practice? Are you able to soley produce and self-manage technical design of multiple small scheme residential projects such as house extensions and loft conversions by yourself without the requirement of a senior member of staff? Do you have experience in dealing with clients , developers and building contractors on a day-to-day basis? Do you have a good knowledge of UK building regulations and are you able to produce building regulations specifications? Have you had experience and are you able to submit building control applications? Experience:
