Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences & work between our multiple sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring high standards of food safety, and managing kitchen operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to showcase their leadership skills within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Supervise kitchen staff, including training and mentoring junior team members Manage food production schedules to ensure timely service Oversee food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in accordance with health regulations Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed Develop new menu items in collaboration with management Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation across all dishes Lead by example in maintaining a positive, professional work environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen role, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience with team management capabilities Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team Good understanding of food production processes and restaurant operations Experience in hospitality or serving roles is advantageous but not essential A recognised culinary qualification or equivalent is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.50-15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
