In this role, you'll be at the forefront of operational excellence and supplier compliance, acting as lead negotiator and relationship manager for key contractor accounts. You'll support the vetting, onboarding, and performance of new and existing suppliers while ensuring delivery excellence, reducing loss, and championing cultural and operational improvements across the region.

Be the lead negotiator for all key final mile contractor accounts, ensuring supplier agreements align with business cost, service, and quality expectations.
Own the full contractor onboarding and vetting process, ensuring compliance from day one.
Lead training and onboarding sessions for new contractor organisations.
Monitor performance data to drive improvements in quality, compliance, and cost per unit.
Deliver weekly/monthly performance reports and lead root-cause analysis for variances.
Drive cost efficiency across the final mile operation and reduce risk of claims/losses.
Take ownership of complex investigations relating to fraud, losses, modern slavery, or compliance risks.
Analyse SME and ParcelShop data to identify patterns and support targeted reduction initiatives.
Lead daily/weekly performance updates and communicate results to both internal and external stakeholders.
Build strong working relationships with contractors and internal teams, leading regular review meetings.

A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
Experience managing performance and contractors in a delivery or logistics environment.
Knowledge of planning or optimisation tools.
Background in implementing change and influencing strategic direction.
Experience in compliance, onboarding, or fraud/risk management is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Confident communicator with stakeholder management and influencing ability.
