Location: Based in London, hybrid working is offered with 1-2 days at home each week. Regular travel across London and the UK is required as part of this role.

About the Area Learning Manager \xe2\x80\x93 UK role

Reporting to the Area Human Resources Director \xe2\x80\x93 UK&I, you will drive and implement the Learning Strategy across UK Hyatt Hotels with a focus on leadership development and building a talent pipeline. This is a fast-paced role with a wide range of stakeholders in multiple locations.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Area Learning Manager \xe2\x80\x93 UK role include

• Be a business partner to UK properties by implementing a learning strategy that supports the organisation to achieve its goals
• Focus on developing/coaching leaders
• Implement and foster Hyatt\xe2\x80\x99s Learning Philosophy across all hotels
• Identify learning needs together with the Leadership Committee, Department Heads and Human Resource Leaders and assist in creating Learning plans; yearly and monthly
• Design and launch new learning courses and evolve existing material where appropriate
• Roll out Area/Global Hyatt Learning initiatives across the UK
• Deliver leadership classroom and virtual workshops as required
• Provide coaching and feedback to Leaders and key stakeholders
• Evaluate learning to ensure effectiveness and maximum return on investment
• Ensure effective communication with Human Resource Leaders, Operation Managers, Hotel Managers and General Managers

Working hours are generally Monday to Friday, office hours, although you may need to work some evenings and weekends and particularly attend recruitment fairs, colleague social events, networking or college alumni events.
