Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional Area Manager to oversee the operational performance and commercial success of multiple flexible workspace locations within the Leeds area and its surroundings. As part of the 2-Work team, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, team leadership, and sales growth across all sites. You will ensure that each location delivers the highest quality service, focusing on client retention and the customer journey, while leading the team to achieve regional occupancy and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities



Operations & Client Engagement:



Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement. Resolve escalated client issues and ensure feedback loops are implemented. Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for clients. Lead and support expansion projects, refurbishments, and new site launches. Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all sites in your area. Monitor and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and service quality. Ensure teams work collaboratively to create a professional, safe, and responsive environment for Members & guests. Conduct regular audits of service delivery standards, communication, and focus on member reviews. Take charge of escalation and resolution matters in conjunction with site teams. Oversee health & safety, compliance, risk assessments, and AML/KYC for virtual office clients. Manage supplier relationships and ensure maintenance schedules are adhered to. Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Marketing, Finance) for streamlined operations and business growth. Lead the delivery of community events and external partnerships. Regularly update the team on operational, procedural, and business development matters.

Sales & Business Development:



Lead the team in achieving occupancy and revenue targets. Track market trends and competitor activity, adjusting pricing and promotional strategies accordingly. Collaborate with marketing teams to drive lead generation and conversion. Identify and pursue upselling opportunities to grow business revenue. Foster a culture of proactive sales generation through team-driven membership referrals and pipeline conversion. Ensure all sites are sales-ready and aligned with the brand.

Financial Management:



Oversee financial performance and profitability of the area, controlling budgets and meeting KPIs. Conduct monthly analysis of turnover and profitability, reporting results to senior management. Take corrective action where necessary to ensure financial performance meets expectations. Implement proactive debt management strategies. Enforce stringent cost controls and ensure proper approval processes for purchase orders. Prepare monthly performance reports and contribute to regional strategy planning.

Property Management & Compliance:



Audit hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance with health & safety standards. Ensure maintenance issues are swiftly addressed through approved suppliers. Maintain compliance with internal policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.

Team Leadership:



Recruit, train, and develop Member Managers and other site employees. Conduct regular site visits, performance reviews, and coaching sessions. Cultivate a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement. Set clear business goals, objectives, and performance standards for the team. Organise team-building events, training sessions, and development programs.

Pay: 35,000.00 per year
