This is an exciting opportunity to join a multinational business as Area Manager for the Northern Ireland Region. You will be responsible for the successful operation of cleaning teams across multiple sites ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction are achieved. Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the operation through a team of Supervisors with key responsibility for standards in all aspects of the role
Client management; meet regularly with all of our clients and ensure requirements are being met
Deal with any escalations within your region
Ensure all locations are within budget
Resourcing for each site
All site administration including time sheets, ordering, recruitment documentation etc
Training of staff on site
Coaching supervisors in terms of staff management
Support sites in cleaning activity when required
In conjunction with HR, carry out formal and informal staff meetings as is required
Travel to other regions or countries may be required from time to time to support business activity
Manage larger scale cleaning projects if required
Carry out all health and safety checks on site including risk assessments
Qualifications And Skills:
Required Skills
+ Must have fluent English
+ Proven track record within a similar environment
+ Demonstrated experience of delivery to the highest standards of customer service
+ Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, including people-management, leadership and both written and verbal communication skills
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel etc
+ A full clean driving licence
Desirable skills
+ Knowledge and experience of the cleaning sector would be a distinct advantage
