As an Area Manager you will form part of the business Management team, to lead and develop your store teams to drive performance and results and to provide line management support and direction to a team of Salon Managers in order for them to drive the performance of their respective salons. This will be a remote role, traveling to store locations is required.

Main Duties (List is not exhaustive):

Sales:

To work to achieve profit targets and identify areas of cost reduction.

To continuously strive to improve and deliver results in accordance with set budgets and key objectives.

Reporting:

To act upon information given around expenditure and income and to review monthly Profile and loss accounts and expenditure reports, taking the necessary steps to address any concerns or overspend to budget.

Provide Head Office team with administrative support.

To submit accurate and efficient payroll information by monthly deadlines

Employee Relations:

Ensure staffing levels are maintained on a daily basis, acting on absence and sickness and creating monthly rosters and distributing these.

To conduct performance reviews, investigation meetings, disciplinary hearings and capability hearings.

Complete right to work documentation checks annually and for new employees.

To recruit, interview, hire and manage and develop staff with HR and Operational policies and procedures

Management:

Manage the behavior and performance of team members, adhering to company policies and procedures and taking relevant action when required.

To provide a facilitative and inclusive management style establishing and maintaining productive, collaborative relations with staff at all levels.

Lead effective and engaging team meetings, reporting back on key issues and questions raised.

Customer Services:

Ensure the high standard of customer service for all clients is always met and effectively dealing with customer complaints

Operations:

To ensure that salons are adequately stocked from a variety of sources; monitor the effectiveness of stock generation

Ensuring compliance with all legislative matters, including Health and Safety and to maintain records for inspection.

Ensuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety guidelines.

General:

To promote a culture of high standards, expectations and continuous improvement that values and empowers staff.

Create an inspiring and positive team environment with an open communication culture.

any issues regarding clients, staff, stock or appointments to relevant point of contact

Supports manager and performs certain managerial duties when manager is absent or out of the business.

Pay: From 35,500.00 per year
