As Area Supervisor, you will report directly to the Area Manager and take ownership of coordinating day-to-day operations. This includes managing direct labour and subcontractors, while ensuring that the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance are consistently upheld.




Your success will be measured by the effective delivery of contract work in line with client KPIs, internal performance targets, and budget requirements. We are looking for someone who thrives on working independently, demonstrates initiative, and is committed to achieving the exceptional level of service our clients expect.

Working as part of the Maintenance Team, as the Area Supervisor you will be responsible for the planning, programming and management of various multi-trade minor works project on clean and wastewater sites through the region.


As well as planning and managing an efficient service, you will provide technical and quality support to client & end users to resolve operational & technical queries that may arise. You will be required to complete a variety of Safety, Environmental and Quality audits to ensure that all works are completed to the minimum required business standards.


This role will be client facing, and you will be required to build and maintain strong, long term client working relationships. A "can do" attitude, as well as a flexible approach to meet the demands of the role will be essential.


You will provide exceptional services to our high-profile client to ensure delivery to the highest quality and standards in all areas of your performance.



Main Activities of the Area Supervisor:


Management of direct and subcontract multiple trades to deliver a variety of minor works projects. Liaise with client staff to plan and programme works to meet the clients financial and operational requirements. Carrying out Health, Quality & Management audits to oversee and maintain the highest quality and standards. Use your own initiative to resolve complicated technical construction & design challenges, ensuring all solutions meet with client requirement and industry minimum standards. Central point of contact for the planning and programming of works, ensuring all projects are delivered to achieve agreed completion targets. Attend all required meetings, ensuring that information is timely and accurately reported to clients & senior managers. Provide leadership and direction to the operation teams ensuring performance remains 'Best in class'. To perform the job in accordance with the company's Code of Conduct, policies and procedures. Any other duties deemed necessary to ensure successful delivery of all works.

About You




Essential Criteria





Full UK Driver's License.

Proficient in the use of standard Microsoft apps such as Excel, Teams, Project, Outlook etc.

Must be able to demonstrate a high level of experience and sound knowledge of the construction/civil works industry.

Minimum 2 years previous industry experience in a Foreman/Supervisory/management role.

Recognised construction trade qualification (Min. 5 Years experience) or HNC/HND qualification in construction (Min. 3 years post qualification experience).


Desirable Criteria





CSR Site Supervisors Gold Card

Previous experience working within the waste & clear water industry.
