Job Description

Club Excel is a Hertfordshire based children's activity camp operator, looking to add an experienced art teacher for a role within our team. We are seeking to find Art teachers or Art graduates for our Summer Camp in 2025.

Your primary role will be to lead a group in our Artists' studio, creating plans that last the full day. You will need to be creative and imaginative to help engage groups of all different abilities.

Main duties include but are not exclusive to:

Planning art activities that will engage children of different ages and abilities throughout the day. Leading in the preparation and delivery of high-quality activity sessions within. Ensure all children have fun and get involved! Supervising children throughout the day and ensuring safety. Meet and greet children and parents on arrival in a cheerful manner. Follow the club's policies and procedures. Encourage children to make friends and challenge themselves. Ensuring safe practice within sessions.

Role is not defined to just these responsibilities, as you may need to be flexible and willing to adapt.*

Essential

Experience working with or teaching primary school-aged children. Creative with a passion for Art. Enthusiasm and a positive approach to working with children. Reliable and committed to providing a fun experience for all those who attend. Have a professional approach to the role and be mindful of Safeguarding. Available for Summer Camps (21st July - 22nd August)

Desired

Experience in a camp environment. Paediatric First Aid. Enhanced DBS
