Permanent, Part-time, 4.5-7.5 hrs per week, Term Time only (flexibility on days/hours)

Set in beautiful woodlands in the village of Sunninghill, near Ascot, The Marist School is a leading independent Catholic day school for girls aged 2 to 18.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Art Technician and Workshop Lead to support our specialised Art staff in delivering a broad, dynamic, and ambitious Art curriculum. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting lessons, maintaining materials and equipment, and will run two specialised clubs.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide day to day technical support within the Art Department, including preparation of materials, setting up equipment, and ensuring workspaces are safe and well-organised. Support the safe use and maintenance of specialist equipment, including the kiln and other workshop tools. Assist staff with the creation of teaching resources and provide technical input where appropriate during lessons. Curate and install displays of student work across the school, reflecting the creativity and diversity of pupils' artistic achievements. Run a lunchtime Scholars Art Club, aimed at extending and enriching the experience of the school's most talented and dedicated young artists. Lead a weekly after school or additional lunch time Art Club, open to all students, promoting creativity, enjoyment, and experimentation beyond the classroom.
