Your Main Responsibilities will include:
Provide technical and classroom support for art lessons, including photography and printmaking.
Manage resources: order supplies, monitor stock, and oversee departmental budgets.
Maintain and prepare studio spaces, darkrooms, kilns, and specialist equipment.
Support student creativity during after school and open studio sessions.
Hang and curate student exhibitions in the Arts Centre.
Ensure health and safety compliance through regular risk assessments (COSHH, equipment testing, etc.).
Accompany school art trips and contribute to the wider creative life of the school.
Assist with administrative tasks, including minute-taking and equipment logs.
About you :
We are looking for someone who:
Experience or qualification in a relevant technical or creative field.
Technically capable and hands-on, with strong organisational and IT skills.
Knowledge of Photoshop, large-format printing, and photographic processes is an advantage.
Ability to manage resources and maintain creative spaces.
Comfortable working with young people and collaborating with staff.
Willingness to learn digital/analogue photography and print processes.
A proactive problem-solver with a practical, can-do approach.
Background in exhibition installation or arts admin is an advantage.
Is enthusiastic and reliable.
