Available Positions
1. Early Morning Baker
Hours: 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM, 5 days a week
Responsibilities:
Bake fresh bread and pastries in the early morning
Pack the delivery orders
Mix dough for the day
Assist with sandwich preparation
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and production area
2. Part-Time Artisan Baker
Hours: 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Schedule: Part-time, with opportunity for longer hours
Responsibilities:
Bake in the early morning
Pack the delivery orders
Prepare sandwiches for service
Mix bread, focaccia, and Viennoiserie dough for the day
Help with laminating dough, shaping sourdough, making cakes, and preparing daily toasts
Perfectly clean and organise the kitchen and production area
General Duties
Prepare and produce a range of food items, including baked goods, savoury dishes, and other artisan products
Assist in developing new recipes and food presentation ideas to enhance our menu
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with UK regulations
Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently
Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth service and consistent quality
Monitor ingredient and supply levels, notifying management when stock needs replenishing
Follow detailed recipes and instructions to achieve the desired flavours, textures, and presentation styles
we are looking for:
Proven experience in food production, bakery, or professional kitchen environments
Strong understanding of food safety standards and best practices
Skills in baking, dough handling, and general kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
Passion for artisan baking and creativity in food presentation
Experience in an artisan or specialty bakery is needed.
