Based at Unit 20 Pentrebach Industrial Estate. Operating borough wide.
To manage and sustain the Council's grounds maintenance, open spaces, parks, and enhancement of biodiversity functions based at a number of locations throughout the County Borough.
Reporting directly to the Environment Manger - Neighbourhood Services. The post holder will be required to ensure that a high-quality service is delivered to residents and visitors to the County Borough's parks and open spaces and that the authority provides a customer focused service.
The role has operational line management responsibility for a diverse team including grounds maintenance and biodiversity management as well as leading on the procurement and selection of large items of plant and fleet. The role has a strategic dimension in terms of supporting the development of and then implementing the strategic plan for the section.
