To be able to support our city to be thriving and vibrant, we are looking to recruit an ASB Facilitator & Investigations Officer to join our team. The postholder must possess excellent communication skills and will be required to work with multiple agencies to ensure that the correct outcomes are achieved.
To support the growth and vitality of our city, the role will include:
Assisting in the delivery of an 'all age person-centred' holistic service to help people to lead healthy and active lifestyles, which allows them to remain living independently in their homes for longer.
Ensuring individuals have choice and control in how their support is provided.
A focus on managing the delivery of extensive early intervention and prevention solutions to reduce escalation to costly services.
Manage ASB casework as part of our 'Thrive' approach, and progress casework for supporting vulnerable and/or repeat victims and perpetrators of anti-social behaviour; hate crime and crime using a holistic problem-solving approach and appropriate tools & powers.
Work in a team of multi-disciplinary staff driving strong performance and achievement of high-quality services.
Assist in the planning and delivery of community projects using various forms of funding to deliver early intervention and prevention, community led support, wellbeing and overall community capacity building.
Support in the performance management across geographic locations ensuring overall value for money is achieved.
Using effective communication to provide advice to the public and businesses with the aim of raising community safety and environmental standards throughout the Borough.
Utilising the appropriate legislation to deal with a variety of anti-social behaviour, environmental and nuisance matters, drafting fixed penalty notices, accurate legal notices and case files.
Working outside of normal officer hours to meet the demands of the service as and when required.
Attend Court when required and be capable of giving evidence in a clear, accurate and confident manner.
