CB Heating Ltd known as EDF Heat Pumps is part of the EDF group and is one of the most respected names within the renewables sector. We are an established heat pump business with over 20 years of experience and significant revenue growth over the past 2 years, hence we require new roles to support future expansion plans on a national scale following our partnership with EDF- one of the UK's largest energy suppliers.

EDF Heat Pumps- Clacton on Sea, on site
Salary:
26,000 - 28,000 per annum depending on experience
Job Type:
Full-Time, on site, 40h/ week- 5 days, different day shift patterns.

Installation
team as a
Support Liaison
.You'll be the
key liaison
for our customers, installation teams, and internal departments, ensuring a
seamless and professional
installation experience from start to finish. This is your chance to play a vital role in the clean energy transition.
What You'll Be Doing (The Core Responsibilities):
As the primary point of contact, you'll manage the
customer journey
from the initial handover through to the completion and aftercare transition.
Customer Communication:
Provide clear, consistent, and timely updates on scheduling, progress, and expectations. You'll educate customers on the installation process and timelines.
Installation Coordination:
Liaise with internal scheduling, technical, and delivery teams for efficient installation. You'll monitor daily progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure all activities are on track.
Documentation & Tracking:
Maintain accurate records and keep our systems (MPX) updated.
Handover & Quality:
Conduct post-installation check-ins to ensure customer satisfaction and high-quality work. You'll brief customers on system usage and manage the documentation handover to the Aftercare team.
Enhanced Service:
Deliver a
"white glove" customer experience
through empathy, responsiveness, and ownership.
What We're Looking For (Essential Skills & Experience):
Proven experience
in a customer-facing coordination or service role.
Strong organisational skills
--the ability to manage multiple installations and stakeholders simultaneously is a must.
IT literate
, Microsoft suite proficiency
Excellent communication skills,
both written and verbal.
A proactive,
problem-solving approach
with strong attention to detail.
Competence with scheduling tools, CRM systems, and project tracking.
Nice to Have but not mandatory:
Experience working with
air source heat pumps
or other low-carbon heating technologies.
Plumbing knowledge
Knowledge of
MCS standards
and renewable heating installation processes.
