Summary & Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a

Weighbridge and Planning Operative

to join our team based at Fox Asphalt Plant, Leyland, Lancashire.

You will work as part of the Multi-Skilled Operational team which produces Asphalt products for our customers. You will be required to offer a high standard of Customer Service, Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality performance for our Plant operations.

In the role of

Weighbridge and Planning Operative

you will specifically focus on operational tasks including:

Operating weighbridge and computer systems Assisting customers with their orders, proactively liaising with customers throughout the day Planning of asphalt production mixing schedules to meet customer demand Liaising with site team members - Asphalt Staff, Site management, Sales Team Liaising with internal team members - Transport distribution, Sales, stock control Carry out housekeeping duties on site Compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies around the site

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of

Weighbridge Operative

will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within an Industrial, Factory or similar environment, ideally have knowledge of Asphalt Production as well as possess good communication skills and have a real desire in developing their skills.

As part of an operational team, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience of working within a similar environment. You will also:

Have knowledge of the industry Be flexible and able to work as part of an effective Multi-Skilled Operative team Be self-motivated and able to motivate other colleagues in the team Have knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental rules and procedures Be compliant and engage with company policies, targets, goals and standards
