The Role

We're looking for a skilled

Assembly Fitter

to join our dynamic production team. In this hands-on role, you will assemble complex engineering machinery to exacting standards using technical drawings, hand and power tools, and precision measuring equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with mechanical assembly experience to contribute to our industry-leading products.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble agricultural and industrial machinery using technical drawings and specifications Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices Configure equipment based on the materials used in construction Perform routine equipment checks and ensure proper setup Follow health and safety regulations and wear required PPE Conduct quality inspections to meet production standards Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues Collaborate effectively with fellow engineers and trade professionals

Qualifications & Skills

City & Guilds or equivalent engineering qualifications preferred Apprentice-trained or demonstrable hands-on experience in mechanical assembly Bench fitting or mechanical fitting certification a plus Working knowledge of safe operating procedures Confidence using overhead cranes (training provided) Proficiency in welding is beneficial Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
