Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and testing our components within our manufacturing environment. Responsibilities



Assemble mechanical parts and equipment using hand tools and power tools according to technical specifications. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on valves to ensure optimal performance. Interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals to facilitate accurate assembly and repairs. Assist in the installation of new equipment within the assembly area. Perform quality checks on assembled components to meet safety standards and quality requirements. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly processes.

Skills



Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of components and systems. Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc. Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and saws. Previous experience in assembly work or manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail coupled with good organisational skills. Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00-13.33 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
