Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly process, ensuring that products are assembled accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with both hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assembly tasks. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Report any issues or defects in materials or equipment to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in assembly processes. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions Practical/hands on work experience Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration.

Physical Demands

Lifting up to 40 pounds Standing, sitting and walking throughout the workday

Work Environment

Purpose built facility based in Earby, commutable from Yorkshire and Lancashire regions Fast paced manufacturing environment

Working Hours

Weekly Rotating 0600/1400 - 1400-2200 M -T and 0600-1100 - 1100-1600 F - 37 hours per week.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
