Assembly & Workshop Helper (Timber & Metal) - Part-time

East Tilbury (RM18 8RH) -- workshop-based with occasional installs in London

Rate:

18 per hour

Hours:

1-2 days per week, contractor/project-based

Who we are

We're Atlanticbike, and we build custom products that combine metal and timber. We're a small, hands-on workshop and we're looking for someone practical, reliable and detail-driven to join us on a part-time basis.

What you'll be doing

Helping us assemble timber and metal components from precise drawings Cutting, sanding, staining and treating timber Using everyday workshop tools confidently (drills, sanders, saws -- especially mitre saws) Keeping the workshop tidy and organised Occasionally joining us on customer-facing installations in London

What we're looking for

Practical experience in assembly/handyman work with strong attention to detail Comfortable with common workshop power tools Able to read and work accurately from drawings and measurements Friendly and professional when dealing with customers Bonus if you have welding experience or would like to learn

The deal

Part-time contractor / project-based: 1-2 days a week 18 per hour Based at our East Tilbury workshop, with some London site visits and assembly work.
